Setting Reminder Dates for Equipment

Viberent allows you to schedule reminders for specific serial numbers in your equipment inventory for things such as Certificate of Fitness, Registration renewal, Test & tag etc. Follow the steps below to schedule reminders for equipment.

Step 1. Create Inventory Stock Custom Fields

Go to Settings - Custom Fields Configuration screen.
Enter the names of those reminder dates that you need on Date Field 1, 2 etc. Make sure that you click the Active button to make it active.
Go to the bottom and click the Save button

Step 2. Set reminders for inventory items

Go to Inventory - Inventory Management screen
Open the relevant item
Go to Stock Details tab
Double-click the serial number entry
Enter the reminder dates
Click the Update button (or Save button if its a new entry)

Step 3. Enable showing reminder on Calendar

Go to Settings - Company Configuration screen
Scroll and go to General System Configuration
Tick the box titled "Show Inventory Items on Calendar" and specify number of days before you wish the reminder to be shown (eg if the WOF is due on 15th September and you wish to be reminded 10 days in advance, then enter the value as 10)
Click Save button at the bottom

Step 4. Calendar now shows the entries for relevant months/dates

Based on the above the Transaction Calendar screen will show reminders.
