Transaction Calendar

Transaction Calendar provides a comprehensive view of your rental operations, allowing you to track activities for the current month as well as navigate to previous or future months using the < (previous month) and > (next month) arrows. It displays key transactional details, including Tentative & Confirmed Quotes, Rentals, Services, Returns, Inventory, Pickup by customer and Return by customer. Depending on the selected categories, corresponding entries will be shown on the calendar within the dashboard. This functionality helps users efficiently manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination and improved operational oversight.

Users can easily toggle the visibility of entries such as Quotes, Rentals, and others by selecting or deselecting the relevant options. When hovering over any calendar entry, a brief pop-up tooltip will appear, providing a summary of the transaction. To view detailed transaction information, users can simply click on the customer name or rental number, or right-click on any entry for additional options.

Entries are shown on the calendar based on the Delivery Dates and Return Dates on Quotes and Rentals.

Quotes - Entries are repeated on the calendar for each distinct Delivery Date, with both Tentative and Confirmed quotes appearing on their respective dates.

Rentals - Entries are shown for each unique Delivery Date and/or Return Date, with rental transactions appearing on both the Delivery Date and Return Date accordingly.

Location Based Dashboard

For users managing stock across multiple locations, the dashboard will dynamically adjust based on the selected location. Transactions created for specific locations will be filtered and displayed accordingly, ensuring users can easily track and manage operations by location.

Posted Invoice entries

Posted invoice entries will be clearly marked with a tick mark symbol, providing an easy visual cue to identify whether an invoice has been posted. This feature helps users quickly differentiate between posted and pending invoices.

Indicates rental is pending collection

If any items in a rental are pending collection, users can mark them in the Rental Screen under the Other Details tab. Based on this selection, the Transaction Calendar will display a visual indicator, highlighting which items are still pending collection.

Quotes/rentals paid

When a Quote or Rental payment is fully completed, a Paid symbol will be displayed on the corresponding calendar entry. This provides an easy visual indicator, allowing users to quickly identify which rentals have been paid in full and which are still pending payment.
