Creating Inventory Custom Fields

Viberent provides 30+ fields in inventory management screen to maintain number of attributes related to an inventory item. However, in addition to these fields, Viberent provides functionality to create user-defined or custom fields. These custom fields can be used to store extra pieces of data such as "Manufacturer's part number" or "Alternate Supplier".  To create custom fields, follow the instructions below.  Viberent provides up to 6 custom fields for inventory items.

  1. Go to Settings - Custom Fields Configuration screen (cog-wheel icon top right corner)
  2. Scroll down to section titled 'Inventory Management Custom Fields'
  3. Tick the Active button on for Label 1, Label 2 etc depending on how many custom fields you require
  4. Enter text for Label 1 name (ie Bin Location), label 2 name etc
  5. Scroll down and click Save button at the bottom
