Roll Over Rental Contracts

Viberent's Roll Over function allows you to roll a posted rental contract to a new contract, with new pricing periods or additional  items without having to cancel a rental transaction and start again.

Note: Viberent is built to comply with PPSR Law in Australia and New Zealand. PPSR Law states that if a rental contract has any changes to the original agreement (new pricing, additional items etc) it needs to be setup on a new rental agreement. The Roll Over function is built to streamline this process. If the rental agreement will remain the same and you need to extend the end date, you can use the Extension Function.

To perform a Roll Over - go to Rental screen, select the rental contract, click More Options dropdown at the bottom and select Roll Over.

Viberent will create a new editable contract referencing the old contract number in the "Rolled From" field as shown below;

You can make edits to the new contract as required in the item details tab. When you have finished creating the new contract details and save the rental, Viberent will allocate a new rental number to the contract, referencing the old contract in the rolled From Field.
