Applying Work Completion Advice (WCA) to Rentals Transactions

Work Completion Advice (WCA) allows you to add line item charges to a rental transaction after the rental has started. For example, WCA is used to charge for things like Fuel Charges, Damage Fees, Engine Hours usage etc are all examples of WCA charges used by some customers.

For long-term transactions, WCA will be applied to the next un-posted months invoice. WCA charges are not applied ongoing.

To apply a WCA charge, go to the WCA tab on a rental and allocated the details as shown below;

  1. Enter Description text to describe the fee/charge
  2. Specify quantity (eg 1.5hrs or 30 litres etc)
  3. Specify the Income account and tax code
  4. Click the Save icon on the line
  5. Enter additional lines if required
  6. Click the Save button below

Viberent will allocate a WCA number for tracking purposes and allows you to ad comments that relate to each WCA charge. The comments field is for internal tracking purposes only.

Each WCA charge will appear as a line item on invoice as shown below;
