Creating Long-Term Rentals
You can setup periodic invoicing in Viberent using the long term rental type dropdown in the top right corner of the rental screen.
Month-End: Viberent will create monthly invoices for the duration of the rental with the invoicing set for the end of calendar month.
Monthly Subscribed: Viberent will create monthly invoices for the duration of the rental with the invoicing set for the selected date for each month.
Weekly Subscribed: You can nominate a week day that you would like to process invoices for.
Note: If you do not select long term hire, Viberent will create 1 invoice for the duration of the entire rental.
Example: Assume you have created a 6 month rental beginning on the 10th March and finishing on the 10th September. If you select, "long term rental type" - Viberent will generate the first invoice with calculations from the 10th March until 30th March. Viberent will then generate the second invoice from 1st April - 30th April with subsequent monthly invoices until the end of the hire. The final September invoice will show rental calculations from the 1st September - 10th September.
If the rental is open ended with no specific end date, simply tick the box titled "No End Date" in each line. Viberent will treat the item rental as open ended.
Long term rental transactions are identified in the manage posting screen as a "continuous invoice" a shown below;
