Creating Long-Term Rentals

You can setup periodic invoicing in Viberent using the long term rental type dropdown in the top right corner of the rental screen.

Periodic Invoicing Options in Viberent:

  1. Month-End: Viberent will generate monthly invoices for the duration of the rental, with invoicing scheduled at the end of each calendar month.
  2. Monthly Subscribed: Viberent will create monthly invoices based on the selected date for each month during the rental period.
  3. Weekly Subscribed: You can specify a weekday for processing invoices on a weekly basis.
  4. 28 days Subscribed: If you select this invoice type, Viberent will generate invoices on a 28-day cycle for the duration of the rental.

Note: If you do not select long term rental, Viberent will generate a single invoice for the entire duration of the rental..

Example: Assume you’ve created a 6-month rental starting on March 10th and ending on September 10th. Here's how Viberent would generate invoices based on the selected rental type:

  • If you select "Long-Term Rental Type":
    • First Invoice: From March 10th to March 30th.
    • Second Invoice: From April 1st to April 30th, with subsequent monthly invoices generated until the rental ends.
    • The final invoice for September will cover the period from September 1st to September 10th.

If the rental is open-ended (without a specific end date), simply select the "No End Date" option for each line. Viberent will treat the rental as open-ended, continuing without a fixed end date.
