Adding Items To Rental Transactions

You can add items to a rental by typing the item code in the Item Code field or searching for the item by pressing the green plus (search) symbol. 

When you have selected an item, Viberent will highlight the available quantity,  based on the rental dates and rental type as well as any minimum cost or periods that have been configured in inventory management. 

*For serial number items, only available serial numbers will be listed in the serial number dropdown for selection

Start Date / End Date

The start date / end date field is used to calculate the rental charge for the item. 

Delivery / Return Date

The delivery / return date field will default to the values chosen in start / end date.

The Delivery / Return Date fields DO NOT effect the rate charged to the customer but do effect the availability of the item to ensure you cannot double book items.
