Creating Item Categories

All items in Viberent are assigned to a Category > Subcategory. The Category > Subcategory is used to group inventory items for the purpose of searching and reporting - it is important to consider how your business would like to search for items when creating your inventory list. 

You can create and edit your item categories using the Inventory > Item Category menu as shown below; 

Using the table on the left, you can create / update item main categories. When you have created an item main category, you can create the subcategories that will exist within the main category using the table on the right side of the screen.
