Tentative Quotes

All quotes created in Viberent have a tentative status by default. Tentative quotes do not reserve inventory or allocate quantities of stock.

When adding a new line item to a tentative quote, Viberent will identify the quantity of items available for the date range. For tentative quotes, Viberent will allow you to save line items showing an insufficient quantity of available items. 

When a customer accepts a quote online, tentative quotes will move from tentative to confirmed. You can manually change the status of a tentative quote using the "Quote Status" dropdown in the Customer Details section. When changing the status of a quote form tentative to confirmed and saving the quote, Viberent will identify if you have sufficient quantities of stock to confirm the quote; 

Tentative quotes are shown in Green on your transaction calendar.
