How to change items on posted rental / Swap Rental Items

Typically, once an invoice is posted on the rental screen, users are unable to modify the items. However, there is an alternative option to change the items, known as Swap Rental Items, which can be accessed under the Transaction menu.

To swap an item in a posted rental, follow these steps:

1. Open the posted rental transaction in which you want to swap the item.
2. Edit the item and select the new item you wish to replace it with.
3. Select the line item and click the "Swap Selected" button.

Once the swap is successful, the updated item will appear in the rental screen.
