Pick Items
Pick Function on Mobile App
You can now use the mobile app to pick items for your events or property styling business.
First, enable Pick Slip in Company Configuration
Tick the box titled “I use Pick Slip”.
This will then allow you to do the following:
- Bulk Pick Items from Rental screen
- Pick items from the mobile app
Mobile App Pick Module
Click the Pick module from the mobile app menu.
You will see list of rentals ready to pick items for the jobs for current day. User can also search entries using customer name, rental number, address etc.
Click the eye icon on the rental to open and pick items.
System will list the job details including customer name, rental number and other details. See example below.
- Click the barcode scanner;
- this will open the camera of the device, you can scan the barcode of the item;
- this will identify if the item is specified within the rental
§ if the item exists, the system will mark the item as picked
§ if the item does not exist, the system will ask if the user wants to add the item; user can then choose to add the item to the rental including specifying quantity or serial number(s)
- Click the + icon to add a new item to the rental
o User can search by item name, category or item code
o User can view the image to confirm and select the item
o User specify the quantity (for bulk item) orserial number (for serial number items)
o Click + icon below item name to add the item to the rental
- Repeat above steps to add new item(s) to the rental
- User can also pick items already in the rental and mark them as picked either by scanning the barcode or marking the tick-box to indicate the item has been picked.
